Víctor Ibáñez has been a professional comic artist and illustrator for over 15 years and resides near Barcelona, Spain

He studied comics and graphic arts at Escola Joso: Centre de Còmic i Arts Visuals and has become known for his detailed and dynamic style. Víctor has worked with major publishers like Marvel and DC Comics, building a reputation for clear storytelling and expressive character work.

Víctor began his career in the European comic scene before transitioning to the American market in 2008 with Robin/Spoiler Special. He later contributed to Vertigo with the graphic novel Rat Catcher. At DC Comics, he worked on titles like Zatanna, Batman: Black and White, and Aquaman, showcasing his versatility. His Marvel portfolio includes Storm, Extraordinary X-Men, and Jean Grey, where his polished linework and ability to handle complex characters stood out.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, Víctor decided to focus on creating his own works, either independently or in collaboration with writers. This new direction led to the release of Heart Eyes (2023), a project he worked on with writer Dennis Hopeless, published under Vault Comics.
